Has anyone had any dealings with a Kimmar Kennels in Huntingtown, MD.  The are breeders of Rotts, Stafford Terriers, chihuahuas and small ponies.  We are having trouble with getting AKC papers and she wants to use unkept dogs to breed with which was in the contract as part of an agreement.  Just looking to see if anyone has had any problems with this Kennel.

AKC should be able to  help with obtaining the paperwork... AND always be sure to get EVERYTHING in writing...signed, dated... you can never be too careful...

YES, I have had dealings with Kimmar and you are not the only one whom they have done this too, forget about the AKC doing anything for you, Kim Owens the owner of the kennel is far from being honest, I purchased a AmStaff from them in 2005 and still havn't gotten the akc papers, more phone call than I can count,Emails, Certified letters, forget about getting a responce, hopefully you got a good animal from them, thats all your going to get, any questions will be gladly answered

About five years ago I purchased an AmStaff from Kimmar kennels and I must admit it was the worst breeder I had ever come in contact with. Although I should have known better, I let my emotions overun my better judgement and proceeded with purchasing a 6 month old puppy from her. She kept numerous dogs together in pens or kennels and the conditions were not very sanitary. She also bred multiple breeds which in my opinion is an indication of a puppy mill. I never received AKC papers or copies of shot records. The only thing I received was an emotionally unstable and unsocialized AmStaff. The dog was too unstable to keep around my young children. If you are thinking of purchasing a puppy from this breeder please reconsider your options and research other breeders. If you have already purchased one from her please be careful if you have children and good luck!

Unfortunately I did not see these reviews when I purchased a rotty.  I am going to pursue getting the papers for a puppy that I purchased on 7/22/08. I should have known better based on the way the place looked.  Any info on them that I can get will surely help with pursuing this.

I received a dog from a third party that was one of her dogs back in 2005. We rescued him because she was going to put him down because he was returned due to the inability to be shown. Nevermind sellling him as a pet...just get rid of him was her mentality. He was an awesome dog, he passed away last year sadly. I dont think much of her but our boy was the best dog you could ever want! We were supposed to receive papers after showing proof he was neutered...all our attempts went unanswered as well.

Does anyone know if Kimmar Kennels runs Chihuahua Cherubs?  Is the assistant Kendra?  I am suppose to get a Chihuahua from the latter.  I am disturbed at the comments about Kimmar.

Stay away from Kimmar Kennel.  They have several complaints against them from the BBB.  The place is a dump. I have a dog from them that has a joint condition and he is only 11 months old. I wished I  had of done my research.

For having so many reads, I'm surprised it has so few posts.

My rotty is now 17 months old.  He is small but he is beautiful and wonderful.  I did get his papers after a lot of hard work and research.  AKC does not help with anything with breeders so that is a waste. BBB did not help me with the breeder either even though there were multiple complaints with them against Kimmar Kennels. I would love to encourage everyone to stay away of them.  These people should not make money off their animals.  I think that they should be closed down but I guess there is no organization that can pursue them.
